Cyrene is an app by Roy Doumet. This page is the public standard against child sexual abuse and exploitation.

What the app is

Cyrene is for one adult, on one phone. You name a feeling and keep a line. You can write a private note and a thirty-day promise. People cannot send messages, photos, video, or voice to each other. There is no account and no public feed. Cyrene is not made for children.

The standard

Roy Doumet prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in Cyrene. That includes child sexual abuse material, grooming a child, and any use of the app to harm a child.

There is no place in Cyrene for a person to post that material. If Roy Doumet learns that the app has been used for child sexual abuse or exploitation, he will stop that use and report confirmed material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, or to the relevant local authority.
